Another Raspberry Suite color challenge. I love these colors!! They are so HAPPY :) I used my new Friends 'til the End set from PTI, I definitely see another PTI order going out soon. I love being able to see what and where I am stamping. I've ruined way too many cards because of stamping a sentiment in the wrong place...Don't get me wrong, I still have crazy love for Stampin' Up! and always will :)
Thanks for looking...one more week until my surgery...I can't wait, the quicker it's over, the quicker I'll feel better. Wish me luck!
Yay, I got my first PTI order...and I love it. I have to admit that using clear stamps takes a bit of getting used to, but, SERIOUSLY, look at this set...the images are gorgeous!! I even love the way the stamps came, the presentation and packaging are beautiful, it really feels like you are receiving a gift.
I have two wedding to attend and will definitely be using this card for one of them.
Have a good one :)
I came across this color challenge this morning and had to try it. I am always in awe of Dawn McVey's use of color. I have to admit, my first attempt was pretty bad. I'm not used to using so many colors, and bright ones at that. I'm pleased with my second card posted here. I think it's very "Dawn". The picture came out quite dark, if the sun comes back out, I'll take a new one.
Looking forward to what she comes up with next week:) TFL!!
If it weren't for sketches lately, I wouldn't be getting anything done!! I am well on my way of making a stock pile of cards. Having some new stamps to play with is just what the doctor ordered. Ever find yourself staring at stacks of stamps thinking "There's nothing I want to use"? That's about where I've been lately. I put a bunch of the untouched, unused ones on ebay and I'm hoping to make enough on them to get some new stuff...I'll let you know how I make out. I have a long PTI and SU! wish list:)
This one is for my husbands birthday and it's still 2 weeks away, definitely a record for me. I love these cute little trees :) TFL!!
Whoo-hoo!! I'm on a roll. Lovin' these new stamps :) I did this card using Lauren Meader's sketch mytimess26. I'm a huge fan of her blog and in awe of her work. I didn't even plan this, but the designer paper actually looks like grass and sky. Off to stamp some more!!
I love how challenges and sketches get my creative juices flowing. This is the first time I've done a Mojo Monday Sketch, I've been admiring them for a long time and decided to play along. My current goal is to make lots of cards so that I'm not running up to my scrapping room every time an occasion comes up. I'm also notorious for sending out cards the day they should be arriving someplace. Maybe if I have cards on hand, I can get them out on time. I've done a pretty good job this week at beginning my stock pile.
Enjoy this gorgeous day :)
It has been so long since I got new stamps!!! After dropping as a demo, I decided I would focus more on my scrapbooking, since that is my first love. But, you know what? I really do miss stamping. After seeing all of the beautiful cards made with Fifth Avenue Floral, I decided that I had to have it. I made these two cards last night. On the first card, I used the emboss resist technique. I had never done that before and I'm really loving it. It didn't photograph really well, but I think you get the picture. The second card is CASED from Nicole Heady's Friends 'til the end card (I want that set too, actually my PTI wish list is getting quite long.)
Can you guess what my favorite embellishment is these days? Buttons!! Love, love, love them!! I can't wait to get upstairs and play some more :)
Conner has been sick for the past week, with just about everything imaginable...stomach virus, strep, bronchitis...the little boy has been on my mind. I wanted to do a page that shows him how much we all love him.
I've been wanting to use these cute new SU! chipboard owls and this seemed to be the perfect chance. I have to admit, it's taken me a while to catch on to the owl trend, but I'm definitely loving them now. TFL :) Have a good one!
