Happy Saturday. Here with another installment of quick and easy holiday cards. This is my favorite of all the others I made. That bird on the holly branch, oh, and to think I came upon using these two sets together completely by accident. Love the touch of white around the edges of the card and the little bits of dazzling diamonds that look like snow.
The boys are all at the high school state champs game and I was left home alone. I'm heading up to my stamping room and finally starting my mass production of x-mas cards.
Have a great weekend!
Yes, another sketch. I'm telling you, if it's wasn't for sketches I'd never be able to make a card. Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration, but it definitely helps to get the mojo going!!! This is another new-to-me sketch. I've been visiting the CAS blog for a while, I just never had a chance to use one of their sketches.
Trying very hard to stay away from my holiday stash. Here I used some of my other most beloved stamps: Damask Designs, Polka Dot Basics and Star Prints.
Two posts in one day, phew :)
I've been wanting to do Mercy's Sketch challenge (mtsc48) for a while. I finally had a chance this week. I loved the 6 x 3, something I don't usually do. I decided to break away from the holiday cards again and use Tea for two.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great one!
CAS41 challenge was to use Vera Bradley handbags as an inspiration. I was inspired by a brown and white toile print bag with bright pink accents. I love this color combination of brown, pink and white.
I'm going to be sending this card off to my niece at college, it looks trendy enough for an 18 year old, right?
Here's another quick and easy holiday card, shown in two different color schemes. I usually mass produce for my holiday cards, but this year lots of different cards will be going out. Now, how to choose who gets which card?
For this month's PTI Guest Star Stamper Contest the challenge was quick and easy holiday cards, right up my alley. This is one of my submissions. Don't you love this cute little gingerbread man? And, he's another image from my favorite Holiday Button Bits.
Kinda short on words today. I was supposed to be attending the SCS NJ, PA & NY get together today, but my husband and my oldest are both sick :( Totally bummed!!!
Lots to share over the next couple of days, so stay tuned!!!
Well, the silence wasn't quite as long as I thought it would be :) I was able to complete this card today for the CAS40 challenge at SCS. The challenge was to use white and only one other color. I chose white and navy, one of my favorite color combos right now. I think it so elegant and simply striking.
This is one of my favorite layouts. If you have been visiting my blog for a while you've seen it many times. It's the one I use when I am short on time and need to produce a nice card quickly. It's not always exactly the same, but I fall back on it often!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great one!!!
Sorry for the silence here on my blog. I have sooooo much to share, but have to wait a couple more days. I am attending the SCS NJ, PA, NY Get together on Saturday and have been working on my shoebox swap and card front swaps. I've also made a ton of PTI holiday cards. I'm planning on participating in the CAS challenge this week too...so hang in there, I'll have lots of eye candy for you soon :)
Love this little birdie!! And those legs:) Unfortunately I dropped the stamp on my leg and now have two long birdie legs on my own leg :(
So, I've been on a roll making my Christmas cards and had to take a break and make something non-holiday related. I used the CAS39 sketch to get me started. I'll be sharing all of my holiday cards soon!!! Have a great weekend!
Here's a CAS card I made this weekend. Playing with this set has really put me in the holiday spirit. A bit early, but at least I'm getting some cards made. I'm making this a short post, off to get some "purple juice" for the little guy. (That means apple juice in the purple sippy cup). Have a great week!
