Puffy Flower

I've been seeing a ton of these puffy little flowers all over lately. It seems like crafters are putting them on everything. I decided to give them a try after watching a tutorial on Dawn McVey's blog. Talk about easy-peasy!!! With just a scallop punch, a brad and button, you can make a super cute embellishment for a card or scrapbook in no time at all.

Using this week's SSC Card Challenge:

I made this little number:

Not only was I psyched to try this technique, I also got to use my cuttlebug for the first time!! What a fun day :)

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are having a great week! And, thanks a million times to everyone that leaves me comments...it means so much to me that you take the time to do that, it really makes my day!!!

Stamp: PTI Star Prints
Paper: PTI White & Kraft, SU! dsp
Ink: SU! basic gray
Accessories: Cuttlebug, scalloped circle & edge punch, brad, PTI button, linen thread

This is such a soft, beautiful card that looks so simple at first, but there's really so much detail. Just fabulous as always, Maureen! :)
