It's your day!

Hello there! Happy Monday to you :) I hope you are having a great start to your week! Today I am sharing a card using a technique that I learned from a very talented lady at SSC, Anneke. I helped her write a tutorial for it and have finally just gotten a chance to try it out!!! I love the effect it gives and it's pretty easy too!
I started out by inking up Upsy Daisy and heat embossing with black embossing powder. Then I tore a piece of cardstock and twisted and turned it over the focal image while sponging the background in Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy ink!!! Easy peasy!!! I can definitely see myself using this technique again :)
For the full tutorial & photos, head over to SSC.
