Love Patterns

Hi there! How's everything in your neck of the woods? We are anticipating a snow storm tonight and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a snow day tomorrow. Living where we do, it is unheard of to not have had a snow day or delayed opening by January 6th. We usually get SO much snow that our schools have 11 snow days written into the calendar...looks like we might get an extra week at the end of the year. I figure, since I'm not actually saying all of this out loud, I'm not jinxing myself.

I'm loving this card, all of these patterns are just so fun! I used a couple of strips of Love Letter dsp and lined the areas where they met with the 1/4 taffeta ribbon. I then stamped the Valentine definition stamp from "Valentine Defined" onto Vanilla cs and punched it out with my 1 3/8 circle punch. The heart is from "I {heart} Hearts"; stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink & trimmed with my paper snips. The Love Letter paper is actually Red Ridinghood, however, I don't have that ink blends beautifully with Cherry Cobbler! I layered the heart on the circle and then a punched basic black scallop circle! I finished it off with a small pearl on the heart and the smallest of the new Rosettes...phew, sounds like a lot, but really, it wasn't!

This card was made using this weeks Limelight Papercrafts sketch challenge! I always love their sketches :)

Enjoy your day, do a snow dance for us!!!
