CAS Sketch

**Please excuse my recent photos it has been raining, and raining and then raining some more. For about a week and a half with no signs of slowing down any time in the near future. I'm doing my best lightening my photos, but there is only so much I can do :( Click on images for more detail.

Hello! Happy Monday to you! It's time for a sketch inspired by one of the CAS DT girls at SCS. I had a lot of fun with this one. I finally got a chance to try the embedded embossing technique. This is how I did it:

1. Stamp medallion image from "Artistic Etchings" set in Crumb Cake in.
2. Using a circle punch (I honestly can't remember if I used the 1 1/4 or 1 3/8 circle punch, sorry!) punch out the center of the medallion.
3. Sponge edges of circles with Crumb Cake ink.
4. Adhere punched & distressed circles to your main panel.
5. Emboss using the Square Lattice Embossing folder.
6. Sponges outside edges with Crumb Cake ink.

The outcome LOOKS like the medallions were actually a part of the paper, like dsp. I'm turning into a technique junkie, LOL! I just want to try all of them out there!!! It's so much fun!!

Head over to SCS and join in!!! I'd love to see what you create!
