One Layer Card

This weeks CAS Challenge at The Outlawz is One Layer Cards (OLC). I love one layer cards, but typically they all look pretty similar to the layout of this card. I always stand my OLC's upright and tie a ribbon on the fold. I stamp in the lower left corner and place the sentiment to the right. You'd actually be amazed how many different looks you can get with one layout just by changing up the stamps and colors.
For this particular card, I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Baja Breeze Cardstock and scored it at 5 1/2. Then I clear embossed two flower images from Fabulous Florets. I sponged each of the flowers first with Baja Breeze ink and then Whisper White Craft Ink. I stamped the sentiment from Thank You Kindly in the craft ink and well and adhered a strip of Basic Pearls below it. I finished the card off with a Whisper White Satin bow.
Easy Peasy. OLC are perfect when you are low on time and having a go-to sketch you like to use makes it even quicker!
