White with Shades of Blue

It's been a while since I've done a color challenge. Honestly, of all of the challenges out there, I participate in color challenges the least. They are by far the hardest for me, but that's what a challenge is, right?! Going outside your comfort zone & trying something new...so, today I am playing along with the SCS CAS challenge: White with Shades of Blue. I know, not a huge challenge, but I'm making baby steps people :)

I love how this turned out, it's so clean and crisp! All of that white space just makes me happy :)

I started by masking off the top part of my card base with a piece of scrap computer paper.

**When choosing paper to mask with, use something thin rather than heavy cardstock.
You will get a crisper image this way.

Next I stamped the image 3 times, turning it slightly each time to fill in the bottom portion of the card. I trimmed a 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch strip of Indigo Island cardstock and adhered it to the cardbase just above the stamped area. Then I stamped the focal image and embellished it with a tiny tag tied with a sweet little bow.

This card, stamped in several different colors, would make a great gift set!!!

I just updated my Stamps For Sale page, check out what's new and what prices have been lower!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
