Man-tastic Friday

I have some CAS masculine cards for you today.  Father's Day is right around the corner so it is time to stock up!!!

First up is my interpretation of the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger
combined with The Paper Players CAS w/Polka Dots.

The brilliant idea of using the banner die to make arrows wasn't mine.  I was inspired to try it after seeing this card and tutorial by Cristina Kowalczyk.  Amazing, right?!

And, the Tuesday Trigger inspiration piece:

Next, is my card for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge; make a CAS masculine card using patterned paper, combined with the CASE Study Challenge (#92) and Simon Says Stamp, a Father's Day/Special Man.

The three ties for Dad were die cut from Pink Paislee patterned paper using the Wplus9 Tie Die.  I added some faux stitching around the outside of the card base for a little extra visual interest.

I've updated my Stamps for Sale page, check it out here.

I hope you were inspired to get cranking on your Father's Day cards.

To my USA friends:  Have a great holiday weekend :)

Maureen - both of these cards are just fantastic! I love the retro feel and cool arrows in the first one, and those ties look great against the die cut in the second. Thank you so much for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!

Aw, I just saw this. I love how you did your arrow heads (is that what we're going to call them? I don't know yet), and I LOVE how they're coming in from the various edges of the card. Brilliant. Thanks for the shout-out, too!
