Shabby Chic

Although I tend to favor Clean and Simple design, I do love and appreciate other styles as well.  Shabby chic is one of those styles.  I love the soft, feminine feel of the Shabby Chic style and the little touches that make the design feel like I'm spending a day at Grandma's...buttons, lace, pearls & pins.  What girl doesn't love pastels, florals & ginghams, right?

I decided to give the shabby chic style a try. I used the Beau Chateau dsp from SU as my jumping off point.  I tried to maintain a somewhat clean design by not layering too much, but adding enough embellishments to hold true to the style.  I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Stamps: Kindness Matters
Ink: Crumb Cake & Soft Suede
Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Beau Chateau dsp
Accessories: Labels Collection Framelits, Designer Frames Embossing folder, Beautiful wings Embosslit,
Linen Thread, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Basic Pearls, Vintage Trinkets, Sponges, misc buttons

This is gorgeous! I love having a go at shabby chic from time to time, and what you've made here is exactly how I like it, as my rule is, once completed it must still fit in an envelope, which I bet yours does.
