Stamp Away With Me, I knew I had to try to make my own Faux Toile note cards. I don't have the stamp set she used, so I looked through my stash and found a few images that are perfect for this technique. I started with an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock turned the long way on my desk. Using Not Quite Navy ink (I love navy toile!) I stamped the frames and flowers from Very Vintage Greetings. Then I filled in with two smaller images from Simply Jane. Once the entire paper was stamped, I cut it in four 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 pieces and mounted each on a folded navy card base. Here's the set all tied up and ready to be gifted.
Such a cool technique, right?! I definitely need to make in different colors to keep on hand for a quick thank you gift!
Stamps: Very Vintage Greetings (Wplus9), Simply Jane (PTI)
Ink: Not Quite Navy (SU!)
Paper: Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy (SU!)
Accessories: Seam Binding (SU)
