Moxie Fab Quilt Cuts

My card today is inspired by the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger.  I saw this photo inspiration and immediately thought of the Wplus9 Quilt Cuts die.

I am in love with the mix of feminine patterns and colors here and tried to mimic that with my paper choices.  The trim reminded me of a doily and the little bow, bakers twine!  I couldn't resist adding a button to this creation.

Are you surprised that I have made another multi-layered card?  I am!  I find the process...exhausting.  After this card I was ready to get right back into my comfort zone with CAS design.  From my scraps I made this card:

Now, that is more like it!!

My "just a note" card is one of my samples this week at StampNation where I've posted another "lesson" in Clean and Simple design.  The focus is on how to use patterned paper on CAS cards.  We currently have 8 lessons in the series touching on how to build a focal point, white space, balance, OLC and more.  If you haven't checked out StampNation yet, you definitely should!

Thanks so much

These are both wonderful Maureen! The colors are to die for, and your layering is superb! The "exhaustion" was well worth it. Now I have to get some of that paper. Thanks for the enabling! ;)

lovely cards! Love the circle in the middle of the hexagons on the first one & the colors/patterns in the papers are great.

That doily card is gorgeous! Great take on the inspiration pic! I can see your vision perfectly..lol! The note card is awesome. How did you mat it? I have to reread or look through more carefully so I can make one. That is truly unique looking. I would love to use kraft, cranberry, golden yellow and sage or hunter for a patchwork Christmas card like that! Soo pretty!
