Fresh Picked Birthday

Do you think it's strange that I'm using fruit stamps in December?  Both my sister & sister-in-law have birthday's this month.  I try to be careful about bundling birthday and Christmas together, I know some people can be sensitive about that ;)  I went in a totally different direction with this card for my SIL.  She loves purple, so I try to incorporate it into most of her cards.  I actually think it's one of the only times I use it!  My layout came from this weeks sketch challenge at  StampNation...

Nothing strange about it. It is reminding me that spring isn't that far off. Your birthday card is just fabulous Maureen. I love the colours and the design.

I loved seeing this one over on SN, was good to see a birthday card and not a Christmasy card. :) My sister's favorite color is purple too. Perfect card!

I also LOVE this card....especially the Purple of course!!

You are so sweet and kind to be so thoughtful with their December Birthdays. Having a son born on December 19th, I know his birthday can often be lumped together with Christmas...not by me, of course, but it can happen. I've always been extra careful to make both events totally separate and to never mix up his Birthday with Christmas.

Big hugs,
Lis
