Inlaid Die Cutting

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm not much of a technique junkie.  I try them here and there but usually stick to just straight on stamping.   Catherine posted a video on StampNation a while ago using an Inlaid Die Cutting technique.  I thought the results were beautiful and the technique itself is easy enough to incorporate into so many designs and styles.  Above is my sample for this weeks challenge at StampNation, Inlaid Die Cutting.

Yup, I'm still on a Rosie Posie kick ;)

Stamps:  Rosie Posie (PTI)
Ink:  Baja Breeze, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade (SU)
Paper:  Baja Breeze, Whisper White (SU!)
Accessories:  Rosie Posie dies (PTI), Framelits die (SU!), Rhinestones

Gosh, it took me until seeing your card on your blog to see where you did the inlaid die cutting. I feel silly now. haha

Love the hexagons and the pop of color on the flower and leaves. :)

Oh this is awesome! I love the inlaid technique...I never do it but need to give it a try. I'm with you on generally sticking with ink and paper!

I had to look really hard to see the inlaid die cutting, too! It's very well hidden! Love this technique and your card....especially the hexagons! TFS
