Moxie Fab Mission - Home Decor

It's day 3 of my Moxie Fab Mission...to complete each of the challenges posted over at Moxie Fab World.  Today's challenge is to create a home decor item.  I had a feeling that this would be one of the challenges, though I hoped it wasn't.  If you stop by my blog often than you know I'm not so much a home decor kind of gal :)  What's a challenge if it doesn't make you try something outside your comfort zone?

I wasn't quite sure where to go with this challenge, but finally decided on sprucing up some candles I use as a centerpiece.  Well, I used to use them until our kittens started taking the pine cones and carrying them all over the house.  I used Authentique patterned paper and stickers that came in a kit that I purchased last year to make this adorable Dixie Cup Advent Calendar.

This was such an easy project.  It didn't take much time at all.  I'm excited to add these candles to my holiday decor this Christmas.  Besides adding hemp to the center candle, I did nothing else to it.  The cardinal is beautiful enough to stand on its own.

To the two side candles I just added some stickers and pearls!

Hmm, maybe I like this whole home decor thing more than I thought!
