A Very Trendy Holiday Card Class

Today is a very exciting day!  I've been working with my friend, Catherine Pooler on a very special project,  A Very Trendy Holiday.  This class is eye catching and fun.  It incorporates all of the current trends in paper crafting into cards and tags for the upcoming holiday season.

Here's a sample of some of the projects...

Lucky for you, I have two free class registrations to give away here on my blog.  Leave me a comment by noon on Sunday, October 27th telling me your favorite paper crafting trend and you'll be entered into the giveaway.  (If you have already purchased the class you will receive a full refund!)

I don't know if you would call it a new trend but I like it all, what I mean is that you can do whatever you want.

You did a fabulous job on this class. My favorite trend in paper crafting is color. I love that I can be daring in color choices in paper crafting because I stick to my favorites in clothes and décor. I can really spread my wings making cards and use whatever color is hot & trendy at the moment even if it means using aqua and pink on a Christmas card. Actually, especially then.

This isn't new, but I love that heat embossing is back. It's always been a favorite technique of mine, and I did it even when it wasn't trendy!

I always seem to be a bit behind when it comes to actually putting something trendy on my cards. I read about the trends, but don't jump on the bandwagon until they've been around for a while and even then I don't get carried away with them. So, I guess I'm not really all that "trendy"! LOL! Right now though, I like sequins within reason, washi tape used well (which I don't see happening very often) and I still like chevrons.

This class looks fabulous! Though I haven't yet incorporated it into my cards yet, I love the use of vellum and embossing paste that I'm seeing all over the place.

I like the banner look on cards. Been doing a lot of that lately. Washi tape is another I like too. Crystal Effects always adds dimension to anything. This class sounds so exciting. Crossing my fingers and toes. Thank You!
