WCMD creations

Happy Hump Day!  I hope you are having a great week.  I'm popping in today to share some of the cards I made on WCMD.  This first card was inspired by a card made by Susan Opel on page 34 of the Holiday Cards & More Issue from Paper Crafts Magazine.  This fabulous stamp was a gift from my friend Catherine for my birthday last month :)

To make my card, I first stamped my image and colored it with Copic markers.  Then I trimmed out just the globe part of the ornament.  I used the Faux Diamonds Technique by pressing it into Versamark and then covering the globe with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and heat setting.  It is so sparkly in real life.  I cut my white cardstock to 3 x 5 1/2 and stamped the ornament again, this time not coloring it, but adhering the globe with dimensionals.  I think the rest is self explanatory :)

My next card was inspied by the current sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch!.  I went with a nontraditional color combo, Wisteria Wonder & Elegant Eggplant.  A bit of a different look for the holidays :)

Inspired by this sketch...

I'm getting closer and closer to my Christmas card goal...43 of 60 complete!!  I can't even believe it.  The new holiday releases are just coming out and I've ordered a bunch.  I imagine I will have WAY more than I need.  I'll also be tired of making Christmas cards BEFORE Thanksgiving :)

Thanks for stopping in!  Have a great one!

Oh my gosh . . . I saw the card on Pinterest and I had to come over and check it out. It is just GORGEOUS. The photo catches a lot of the beauty, so I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in person. LOVE it!

Oh my sparkly heaven! That globe is divine. How did you even think to use it for a Christmas card? You know I love the lavender snowflakes too. You've definitely got my mojo flowing this morning Mo.

Would love to know the stamp set/company name for the nice big Joy to the World sentiment you used on the first card. Gorgeous card it is, too!!
