Joy to the World

This card has been sitting on my desk since Saturday, waiting to be photographed.  I had all intentions of putting in on my blog on Saturday, then Sunday, Monday...well, it's late afternoon on Wednesday and I have finally had a minute to do it!

Do you see that fun stitched edge?  Eek, I finally got my hands on the Stitched Rectangle dies from Lil' Inkers.  I used my friend Kristie's when we were in Boston and fell completely in love with them.  I HAD to have them.  Be prepared to see everything with this fun stitching because I think it's going to be a while before I can put those dies away!  The fun patterned paper was a gift from the very sweet Suzanne during that same trip.  I've been using it a ton lately.  (Thanks Suzanne!)  And that cute little Joy piece was a goodie from Catherine.  I'm so lucky to have so many crafty friends :)

My card design was inspired by this weeks Retro Sketch Challenge #91.

I'll be back tomorrow with my CASE Study Challenge, but if you don't stop by, have a safe and Happy Thankgiving!

Yup - everything about it rocks! I just got those dies too and can't wait to use them and the joy speech bubble is perfect!

Great card. I'd love to know about the "joy" conversation balloon. Is that one die or a conversation balloon with separate alphabet dies used to cut out the word? (I've never seen alphabet dies that small that can be used individually. Would love to know the company if they exist.) I'm fairly new to your blog and I've wondered about other stamps and dies you've used in the past, but didn't ask. I sure wish you included a supply list in your posts.
