CASology - Party

It's time for a new CASology Cue Card!!!

Here's my take on the Cue Card...

My first card for this challenge was much different.  I knew I wanted to use the Spot On stamp set by Lil' Inkers.  Those dots look like a party to me!  I chose my colors and started stamping and I couldn't stop.  Before I knew it I had stamped the entire card base.

I thought and thought over this...is it CAS?
Well, it has minimal layering, white space & it can be somewhat easily reproducible.
However, that's a whole lot of pattern that looks pretty cluttered.

I turned to some of the CASology DT and they agreed, it's CAS BUT...not CAS :)

I knew I could do better, so back to my supplies I went.
Using the same supplies I think I did much better.
I replaced one of the patterned dots with a solid dot & flip flopped my pattern and white space.

I find that using strong patterns like this in negative space is a good way to keep a design CAS!

How are you inspired by PARTY?

Reversing your original card was the perfect solution (your original card is great, just maybe a tad less CAS! lol!) I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

I love how you've showed both versions! I love them both, but being so CAS minded, I have to say I prefer the one with abundance of white space! Beautiful colors and such a great use of circles and patterns!!! :)
