Let it Snow

CAS-ual Fridays "Let it Snow" Challenge came along at the perfect time...

because all it's been doing around here is snowing!
3 snow days in the past week, plus a weekend storm.  It seems like it's going to be a long Winter.

The snow and gray skies are leading to gray cards, sorry.

My Christmas card have gone postal, but I just keep on making them anyway :)

I've layered two snowflake dies by Impression Obsession using White & Red Glimmer Paper by Stampin' Up, then heat embossed my greeting with silver embossing powder.  I know it's hard to see in this photo, but can you see the embossed frame?  I used Lil' Inkers Texture Frame to do that.  It adds such a nice, subtle detail to the card, don't ya think?

 Thanks for stopping by!

Snow! It looks like so much fun! I wish we had snow here, but we sit at the other end of the spectrum - oppressive heat in Summer and mild Winters. Your card is beautiful, Maureen! I love the layered snowflake. :-)
