CASology - CONTRAST

It's time for a new CASology Cue Card!!!

This idea for CONTRAST came about the week I made this card.
We talked about how it might be beneficial to our players if the DT came up with two cards for a challenge,  one not so CAS and one CAS...a CONTRAST.

This card is my CAS card.

Inspired by this not so CAS card...

The bones of this card are definitely CAS, but there's a bit too many patterns & embossing which make it tip over into the not so CAS category.

How did I CASify this card?
  • I left the card base clean.  You don't need to use a white card base to keep your design CAS,  you just need clean open space.
  • Rather than many different patterns, I used only two and used those sparingly!  I balanced out the patterns with a solid heart.
How are you inspired by CONTRAST?
*You do not have to make two cards, just be inspired by the word CONTRAST and use some of the tips from the DT to create your CAS project.

Both cards are truly fabulous. I love the crisp white with the happy pops of color on the first and the more rustic feel of the second. Shows how wide your design talents are Maureen!
