CASE Study #179

We're back with CASE Study #179 continuing with our February muse

I love the soft pastel colors here.
I pulled that into my design, as well as the large sentiment and vellum.

I had a blast making this card.  I don't usually gravitate toward such a soft and feminine color palette, so this was fun for me.  To make my card, I started by die cutting the "hello" sentiment from watercolor paper and colored it using Distress Markers.  To give it a softer look, I brushed over the ink with a lot of water several times, I was going for a very subtle look.  Once dry, I used my Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle, then I covered the whole thing with Glossy Accents and set it aside to dry while I worked on the rest of my card.   I used two of my favorite products to finish up my card, Lil' Inkers On the Diagonal Die to cut my patterned paper.  I love that I get a perfect cut each and every time.  And, of course, I used a sprinkling of my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow Sequins.

Make sure your stop by each of the DT's blog to see how they were inspired!
Then head to your craft room and link up to CASE Study

We also have two fabulous Guest Designers this month...

I love this card, Mo and what you have done with the hello die cut! Great CASE study. I didn't know LID had an angled stitched die. Adding it to my wishlist.
