Third Times a Charm!
I'm a big fan of Christmas in July. I usually make a few Christmas cards during July, then start full on Christmas card making by the end of August or the beginning of September. It takes me a bit to get into the holiday card making groove and that was certainly the case with this card! See, I wanted to play along in the Merry Monday Challenge, which is to use green and white. My first card was an epic fail. I was happy with my second card but it didn't really fit the green and white theme. Finally, I came up with the card above which I don't love but I like enough to post here :) Maybe the green and white combo just isn't for me.
When do you start making Christmas cards?
Stamps: Cheerful Christmas Greetings (MFT)
Ink: Coconut Husk (WPlus9)
Paper: Whisper White, Champagne Glimmer (SU) Simply Chartreuse (PTI)
Accessories: Stitched Borders 1 Die (Pretty Pink Posh) Snowflake Die (Impression Obsession)

This is gorgeous, Maureen!
I LOVE how this turned out Mo! So happy you didn't give up on this challenge. ;) I love the bottom edge on this. Perfect!
This is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Love it!
I think you did green and white beautifully, Maureen! I start making Christmas cards in January. In fact I don't think I stop making Christmas cards. They're my favorites! Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday!
This is beautiful!! I love your green and white color scheme. I love die cut bottom edge. So pretty. I do not make my Christmas cards anymore. I do a photo card with my daughter on the front. I am a last minute Lucy when it comes to Christmas cards so this is a way it works for me!! I admire people that make their own. Maybe when she refuses to pose is when I will start!!
Sometimes we are our own worst critics! This is just lovely, especially with the gold glimmer. I also love that sweet diecut pierced border....just beautiful! Thanks for playing with my challenge this week at Merry Monday!
I LOVE your card Maureen! That snowflake is stunning - and the edge accent is just perfect. I absolutely love it. :)
Your card is just perfect, Maureen! I like very much that there is just one focal point - a glittery snowflake!
This is beautiful in its simplicity. I too struggled with the green and white challenge, so you're not along :) Thanks so much for joining us at Merry Monday.
Very pretty. Love your snowflake.
Love this, the sparkling inset detail on the snowflake and the detailed edge, gorgeous!
I'm glad you didn't give up Mo as this turned out fabulously!!!
Beautiful!
STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!
