WPlus9 Release Day

I bet you have a long wish list from the WPlus9 release!
There are so many fabulous new products and they are available NOW for purchase.

I have 2 more cards to share with you today...

My first card uses the Papel Picado Companion Dies and Hand Lettered Thanks stamp set & dies.

The Papel Picado stamp set is so pretty and feminine, but I took the dies and made something bold and graphic.  I sure do love versatile supplies :) I die cut the banners from Lake House, Sweet Gelato & Nautical Navy then lined up the pieces on my grid paper heat embossing the sentiment before adhering them to my card.  The white Hand Lettered "you" was adhered with liquid glue.

My next card uses the Lucky Stars Stamp Set.

Lucky Stars is one of my favorite sets from the release.  I love the fonts on the sentiments and all of the little extras for making perfect starry skies.  Here I  heat embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder on white card stock.  Then I repeatedly stamped the shooting star image over the sentiment with Lake House, Ocean Drive and Nautical Navy ink.  I wanted my sentiment to pop a bit more so I used a distress tool and added Lake House ink around the whole background.  I love how nicely the PURE Color inks blend.  I finished by stamping a few small stars in Nautical Navy ink on the left to balance out the design.

Before I get going for today, I thought I'd share the winner of the Flora & Fauna 2 stamp set and companion dies.

Congratulations Hazel!  Please contact Dawn at dawn@wplus9.com with your address and she we get those out to you!

I hope you've enjoyed my cards for this release.  Remember all products are now available in the WPlus9 Store, so head over there and start shopping :)

Fabulous cards, Maureen! I especially love the graphic nature of the first because I wouldn't initially think that this set/dies would work as well for that style.
