CAS(E) this Sketch #100!!!!

It's time for a new sketch at  CAS(E) this Sketch and this week marks our 100th sketch.
We have some special friends posting with us this week to celebrate & we have a surprise.
You'll definitely want to head over to the CTS blog!

All I could think when I saw this sketch was patterned paper!

I started this design by cutting my patterned paper in 1/2 inch strips.  I used a ruler and pencil to mark the center point on the card base, then started laying down my strips!  Super simple and a great way to use up some of your paper scraps!!!

I'd love to see you playing along!  Head over to CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the DT is inspired by this week's sketch.

Gorgeous, Maureen! Are you also a quilter? This is exactly how you make a log cabin quilt!

Love the way all those different pattern papers co-exist so beautifully . . . very visionary! Thanks for the inspiration! Hazel x
