Awesome Birthday

I recently started volunteering making cards with Seniors on Fridays.  It's definitely a highlight in my week!  At first I was told to prepare cards that were about the level of Kindergarten, so that's what I did.  They were done with the my project in minutes.  These are not Kindergarteners, these ladies can stamp!  I've been basing my projects around holidays, seasons etc but last week I asked what they wanted to make next time.  What did they say?  Masculine birthday cards.  Oye!  Masculine cards are hard!  My project has to be easy enough, without too many techniques, but I want them to be awesome too.  When I spotted my Kaliedacolor ink pads I knew exactly what I'd do.  I love that just by using this ink pad I get such a variety of color.  This card also gives you that, "How did you do that" feeling right?  Love that!

It's been a long week friends!  TGIF!!!

Supplies
Stamps:  Birthday Balloon, Happy Everything (Clearly Whimsy)
Ink:  Vineyard Kaleidacolor (Tsukineko) Crumb Cake, Early Espresso (SU)
Paper:  Whisper White (SU) Kraft (WPlus9)

I just love this card. The colors of the balloons make the card. At first I thought you painted the balloons. Was surprised to read you used Kaliedacolr ink pads. I have 1 of those and I am going to go upstairs to create. Thanks for the inspiration.
