WPlus9 June Release - Masculine & Feminine!

I'm back with two more cards for the WPlus9 June Release.
Today I am featuring the Greetings & Salutations stamp set.

I had to go bold and graphic with this set, how could I not?  I stamped the sketchy shapes in Mojito, Lake House and Bo Peep inks, then filled in with the sentiments.  I grounded the design by adding a thin strip of Black Card Stock.  This design is perfect for guys!

My second card gives Greetings & Salutations a whole new look!

This time my card has a soft, feminine touch. I colored directly on the Watercolored Anemone stamp with Distress Markers, then spritzed it with water before stamping down on the tag. Once it was dry, I stamped over the flowers with kraft ink.  I stamped the card base with the White Pigment ink to ground the tag and to tie the background in with the focal point!  The white on kraft, as well as the watercolored flower helped me achieve a feminine look.

That's it from me for now.  Make sure you visit Dawn at the WPlus9 Design Blog, Kara and  Joni  for even more inspiration.

Oh, what colors of ink did you use for the flower?

My favorite cards to make are with flowers. This release has that covered. It's awesome!

Thanks Tess! I used Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Mowed Lawn Distress inks on the flower. I usually include my supply list in all of my posts, but with all of the blog posts I've done this week,I've gotten lazy! Sorry about that :)
