WPlus9 October Release - Holiday Hugs

Hello! Welcome to another day of the WPlus9 October Release.

Today I have a card featuring Holiday Hugs.

It's not often that you'll find me making cards with so much patterned paper, but I just couldn't stop myself on this card.  I struggle with line sets, so I am always looking for new ways to add color, without coloring.  I'm actually doing a little series on this on my blog here if you wanted to check that out.  Anyway....I started by stamping and paper piecing the image.  Then I went crazy with layers and pattern.  This is really the only time of year that I use a lot of patterned paper.  I don't know what it is about Christmas time, but I just love the paper :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'll be back tomorrow with another card for the WPlus9 October release.  Visit the WPlus9 Design Blog each day this week for more inspiration and for a chance to win some new product!  Stop by and visit KaraJoni and Kelly too!!

Perfect paper piecing! Can you share the name of the paper line you used?

I love how you did this card. I like the non-traditional colours you used for it. So sweet.

LOVE that patterned paper. For some reason I am drawn to these colors for Christmas the past couple of years. I'm super impressed with the pattern you used for the girl's hair. At first I thought you had colored it, but looking closer I see you even used patterned paper for her hair. Brilliant!
