Stamp of Approval - Coming Soon!

This project has been in the makings for almost a year.  The minute Catherine told me about it, I knew it would be a hit.  I've been behind the scenes encouraging her all the while and I can't wait for the release of the first Stamp of Approval box!

You may be wondering what this is all about?  Well, Catherine has been working with top companies in the stamp industry (CAS-ual Fridays, Winnie & Walter and Little Things by Lucy's Cards) to develop an exclusive collection of versatile stamps and supplies that will work together or separately to create many unique cards.  The boxes will have a general theme, the first based on friendship.

There is a very limited supply of the first box, so make sure you get on the waiting list.  By the looks of the initial response, these boxes are going to go QUICK!

Patina Note Card

I'm super excited about this CAS note card.  It literally came together in a matter of minutes.  I placed the Patina stencil off the edge of a white card base and sponged over it with Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed Distress Inks.  I blended the two colors in the middle so it looks like I used three inks.  Next I die cut my sentiment from the Hooray Creative die set and adhered it to the card base with liquid glue.  My final step was adding a stamped sentiment below the die.  Easy Peasy!

This design is perfect for mass producing for gift sets.  Change out the stencil and colors and make a simple note card for any occasion or season.

Today I'm featuring Pineapple Panache and the coordinating die set, as well as the Stitched Woodgrain Cover Up die.

Pineapples have become quite trendy in the paper crafting world lately!  I love the different patterns and how you can mix up the design on each pineapple.  I've used a pretty classic CAS layout here and dressed up the card stock by die cutting the card base with the Stitched Woodgrain Cover Up die.

Time to keep hopping along now.  Next up is Amy, so head over to her blog because you know she'll have something AMAZING to show you.  Make sure to leave comments along the way too, because Laura is giving away 3 - $15 Store Credits!

I hope you've enjoyed my release projects!  I'm excited to start seeing some of these products popping up around blog land!

Today I am featuring the completely adorable Snailed It! stamp set and dies.  Look at the sentiments...too cute!

I paired Ombre ink pads with the Ombre Stripes paper to make this monochromatic card.  I can never resist using the Stitched Rectangles, this time I chose the Side-Stitched design.  They finish every card off perfectly.

Next up is Heather, so head over to her blog and see what kind of awesomeness she's cooked up.  Make sure you leave comments along the way, Laura is giving away three $15 store credits.

See you tomorrow!

Christmas in July

I never let a July go by without creating a few Christmas cards.  I just couldn't resist making a Christmas card using some of the newly released Reverse Confetti products.  The red and green chevron Quick Card Panels and the "Believe" image from You Are a Star screamed Christmas to me.  To give a bit of sparkle to my star, I pressed it into a Versamark ink pad and then heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  I just love that technique on Christmas cards!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Reverse Confetti July Blog Hop

It's here, today is release day at Reverse Confetti!
All of the products are now available for purchase.

The design team, myself and Vera are hopping along today sharing more projects using the July release.  You should have arrived here from Leigh Penner's blog.  If not, head over to the Reverse Confetti blog to start from the beginning.

I've kept my release projects ultra-CAS.  This card continues the trend with just one additional layer.

The Weather or Dot {& Stripes} Quick Card Panels make putting together a card super quick (hence the name!) and easy!  I love how each panel is so different, you really get a great variety.  Here I placed a Quick Card Panel on a navy card base, then I stamped and die cut the umbrella.  I did the rest of my stamping right on the panel, easy peasy!

Next up on the blog hop is Stacey Schafer, head on over to her blog and check out the awesome creation that I'm sure she has made!

Thanks so much for all of your sweet comments this week.  I really appreciate it!!

Countdown to Confetti - Day Three

It's almost release time!
All of the fabulous products that we have been showing over the past few days will be available for purchase tomorrow at Reverse Confetti!

Today we are featuring My World and the Globe Confetti Cuts.

The Globe Confetti Cuts made me gasp when I first laid eyes on it!  It is so stunning and different from everything else in my stash.  It makes a perfect focal point on a CAS card or an accent to a technique-y piece.  I love the variety of sentiments included in My World, you could literally make a card for any occasion.

For my card today, I was going for a life-like look for my globe.  I watercolored with distress inks on watercolor paper and just added drops of blue and green.  Once dry I chose an area that I thought most depicted the globe and then die cut the globe from that.  I really wanted this globe to take center stage, so I kept the rest of my design CAS, only adding score lines to ground my design.

I'll be sharing another card I made using this die soon!  Stay tuned!

Countdown to Confetti - Day Two

We are counting down to the July release at  Reverse Confetti.
All of the new products that we are sharing will be available to purchase on July 8th!

My project today features Posted Note and Posted Note Sentiments.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this stamp set was Post-It Notes, so that is the idea I brought to my stamp room!  This is about as CAS as they come.  You could easily make a gift set using the different sentiments in the set.

Countdown to Confetti - Day One

I'm thrilled to be joining Reverse Confetti as a 'Fetti Friend for the months of July and August!  It's release time and today is the first of three sneak peek days with the release on July 8th.  I can't wait to share all of the new products with you!!!

My project today features the new sets, Later Alligator and Weather It Together and the coordinating die cuts.

How cute is this alligator?  I absolutely love him :)  I colored him (yes, it's a boy!) with Copic markers and then pounced over him with the colorless blender to give him some texture.  I kept the rest of my card CAS, like I usually do, and added googly eyes to go along with the fun and playful images.
