Calling All Sistahs - Gradient Inking

In support of Michele Gross and her Calling All Sistahs campaign, I'm popping in to remind you that it's time to do your monthly self-exam.

I made a card for the occasion too!

This ribbon is just beautiful.  I love how it's filled with little flowers.  To make that ribbon pop, I used a gradient inking technique with my MISTI Stamping Tool.  I placed the Hope Ribbon on the MISTI, then chose four ink colors.  I inked up just a portion of the Hope Ribbon at a time and stamped it little by little just by opening and closing the MISTI.  The result is a beautiful gradient image.  I die cut the a piece of white card stock using the Love Mom Layer dies and then die cut again using the Ruffled Ribbon Fri-die.  I placed the stamped image in the negative space and embellished the design with coordinating sequins.  CAS perfection :)

Head over to CAS-ual Fridays where you can find the Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop .  Also drop by the CAS-ual Fridays store to purchase the Calling All Sistahs collection.  50% of the proceeds from the collection are donated to breast cancer research and awareness.

Do your part to spread awareness by reminding your "sistahs" to do their monthly check!

Thanks for visiting!
