Stamp of Approval - Geobuilders & All About You

It's Coming, It's Coming!

The Stamp of Approval Beautiful World Collection releases on...

April 20th!

If you haven't heard of the Stamp of Approval yet, you may be wondering what it is all about.  My friend Catherine Pooler has been working with top companies in the stamp industry (CAS-ual Fridays, SugarPea Designs & GinaK) to develop an exclusive collection of versatile stamps and supplies that will work together or separately to create many unique cards.  Along with the products in the box, you also receive a Project Guide giving you step-by-step instructions on how to create many, many cards using the collection.

Myself and the rest of the SOA designers are spending a couple of days sharing cards using the collection.  If you'd like to see more, pop on over to Catherine's blog where she is linking all of the projects daily.

My cards today feature the Geobuilders and All About You stamp sets and Two Yous dies.

I love stamp sets that allow me to create my own backgrounds.  Geobuilders has quickly become a favorite in my stash.  There is a nice variety of borders and single stamps that allow you to really get creative with your stamping.  You can stamp this border one of two ways.  First, you can do what I've done and nest each of the rows into the space of the rows above and below it.  If you look at the bottom of each shape you'll see a notch, you can also fit each row within that notch, which in the end gives you a completely different look!  Versatility, that is what I love!

Can we talk for a minute about that "You"?  How stunning is that?  The stamp set allows you to create many different sentiments for all occasions and can be used with or without the coordinating dies.  (I just realized that I've used the same sentiment on both cards, oops!)

For this card I've used the single diamond stamp to create a border for my sentiment.  I love that each stamp is separate so that you can create your own colorful backgrounds and borders.  To stamp the border, I drew a light pencil line to help with placement, then I started with my lightest ink and gradually moved to the darkest.  This is a great OLC design that can be used for males or females just by changing out the colors.

Be sure to check in over the next few days for more peeks and the Stamp of Approval Beautiful World Blog Hop!

Also, get on the Stamp of Approval Wait List so that you receive notification when the collection is available!
