Farewell to CAS-ual Friday Stamps

As you can tell by my post count, I haven't done much stamping lately.  My personal life has taken some twists and turns this last quarter of 2017 and I'm in need of a mental reset (someone tell me when they find that button!).

So, today, I bid a fond farewell to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Design Team.  It's been a great year.  I feel blessed and honored to have had the chance to design on such a wonderful team.

Before I go though, I have one more card for you!  A Chanukah card on the 8th night of Chanukah.

I started this card by stamping the snowflakes from the Joy stamp set in shades of blue.  Then I lightly sponged the edges of the card stock using the same blue ink.  I die cut a circle from the upper third of the panel and inlaid the "Happy Chanukah" from the Chanukah stamp set which was heat embossed in Silver.  The finishing touch was a scattering of sequins that follow the flow of the design.

That's all from me.  Thanks so much for coming by and sharing a part of your day with me!

Thank you to Michele and the rest of the CFS team for a wonderfully creative year!!!

Merry Christmas

The countdown to Christmas is ON and if you haven't finished your cards yet, you had better get stamping!  The CAS-ual Fridays Merry stamp set is perfect for making beautiful cards quickly.  Here I simply heat embossed the large Merry Christmas and then stamped the panel with red, green and white ink.  I also used the little hearts from Peace, Love and Coffee.  For a little added detail, I sponged the edges with white ink and tied the top with bakers twine.

Both of the stamp sets that I used are on sale.  Add them to your cart so that you too can make quick CAS Christmas cards (Hurry, you are running out of time!).
